blur, lazy and kiam siap.

Saturday, July 29th, 2006

So it was about nine at night, after Buletin Utama. I went upstairs thinking I’d snooze for a moment then wake up and handle some paperwork…

12 hours later… I woke up at nine a.m. Dua belas jam berhibernasi. fooh. (Hmm.. come to think of it.. I woke up at 5.00 actually but there wasn’t anything to do at that hour -excercise? too lazy.- so went to get rid of some ammonia and went back to sleep. zzz.)

heh. Slept at about one in the morning the day before and had to wake up at six plus to get ready for the AGM. What to do. Hahah.. The evils of IM-ing. ;p The sky is green la di da…

Anyhow, school’s st.john AGM was on the 29th. First day itself and there’s tons of work to do. Procrastinating Queen dictates that a bit of blogging won’t harm though. heheh…

Sim Ann, Yee Lian, Cung Sen, Yen-Theng, Pui Yee and Mei Qi. There’s your top six. Congrats to the new board. (Congratulating myself in the process. MWHAHAHA… wth.) Dunno how they came to think that a blur, lazy and kiam siap person can become the secretary. =.=” (Kiam siap because I can’t bear the thought of precious printer ink being used to print reports which will be… forgotten by the next session. *sigh* O beautiful ink…) Hmm.. On the bright side… I have TWO people to bully while the rest have only one. (except the Storekeeper, she’s got two people in her dept. too) HUAHAHAHAHHAAAAA.. Ann and Hoover… Time to unleash the evil side.

(eh, Low and JJ.. What’s with all the good luck testimonials hah? Both of you… Think the same way.. Hmm.. Are you… *coughsecretlydatingcough*… *ehem* I have my own cough drops, thanks.)

The fourth time.

Heheh.. how ’bout that? There have been people reading my blog!

*yay*

Whahahaah… *ehem* So, yesterday was quite an important day.

My fourth visit to a cinema.

Yah yah, stop goggling at the screen. You read correctly, fourth time. My whole life so far has culminated in a mere four visits to a cinema. (=.=) I’m not a rich kid. And my parents aren’t really what you’ll call "let’s-go-watch-movies-in-the-cinema" kind of people. Oh no, we’ll have to wait till three/four/five etc years until some clever soul on ze free-to-air tv channels decide to screen ze movie.

Of course, by then, the interest has faded considerably.

Hmm.. On the other hand, not watching movies in cinemas haven’t really generated an interest in movies, unless it’s a really good movie. But then again, you’ll ask, If she hasn’t watched it, how would she know it’s a good movie?

Mostly through friends. Raves about movies end with the sentence "OH-MY-GOSH, you just HAVE to WATCH this superbly awesome movie because it’s just superbly awesome!"

Okay, fine, my friends don’t speak like bimbos. ;p

But it doesn’t matter really because it saves ca$h and provides me ample time to indulge in my hobby. (sleeping. Other than world domination.) And it allows me to hog the Astro movie channels everytime we balik kampung. WAHHAHA..

Yes, I don’t have Astro either.

Hmm… The four times are…

a) Hercules - Only a vague memory of the first time. Went with the family and a few friends from nursery. Hahah.. Why were the parents so generous eh? We got free tickets lah. =p

b) Spy Kids 3 - This one.. Watched it in Sarawak. Was on a visiting holiday there, but got quite bored holed up cos mum had to work. (she was transferred there for a short while) So, voila, dad bought tickets for Spy Kids 3. This one was one of those 3D movies so we had the special effects spectacles but kinda annoying because I’m already wearing specs. If I took my specs off, the view would be kinda blur so… well, you have to do what you have to do eh? So I wore the special-effects specs OVER my normal specs. Yah yah, I did. =p Good thing cinemas are dark places. heheh… The movie itself kinda… sucked. (weh, what else do you expect from a movie franchise called SPY KIDS?) The only different thing about it was the 3-D effects. 5 out of 10.

c) X-Men 3 - This one was quite recent. Went with Ee Von, Garrick,Bi Shen? Bi Syen?, Gerard and his gf. Sorry, dunno her name. But the lovey-dovey couple went to watch something else… heh. *cough**cough*whatweretheydoing*cough* hee hee hee.. X-Men 3 was good though I didn’t watch the first nor second movie. Jean Grey looked kinda old though. Had a sudden interest in Wolverine. heheh.. The most annoying one was probably Rogue’s boyfriend. Couldn’t even remember his name. A close second would be the amateur villain who kept picking fights with Storm… The one with the really bad costume. 7 out of 10.

d) Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man’s Chest which was translated as Lanun-lanun Carribean - Harta Lelaki Mati. (=.=) Hah. This one’s probably the best, ties with X-Men 3. Went with Debs. Supposed to meet up with Michelle and Fei Theng but they had transportation problems so only Debs and I. Captain Jack Sparrow -delightfully eccentric persona- Sorry EV but Will Turner seems to be quite a pretty-face character. Halt that sword lass. I said QUITE. He can do some sword-fighting though. heheheheheh… 8 out of 10.

Now where’s me rum…

hmm…

"Congratulations. Your new blog has been created."

woh.

So, someone’s started a new blog on Friendster. Yah yah, big deal. *throws self-congratulatory confetti*

*yawn*

Ehm, anyway, been feeling an itch to start this blog, so, as most itches are meant to be scratched, here I am, typing out a pilot post for you. heh. (Okay, admit it; you’re bored. Why else will you be reading all these eh?) Speaking about readership…

No. of first-degree contacts = 74

So.. if i assume that half of the people who get the notification e-mail will just delete it…

50% multiplied by 74 = 37

…and that out of 37.. half will glaze through…

50% times 37 = 18.5, round up to 2 significant figures = 19

…and out of the 19 friends who read this…

half of 19 = 9.5, simplified to 10

…so around ten estimated readers. Fine, ten is a magnanimous number so, lower it down to.. nine? heheh.. Well, I wouldn’t know. I think out of the nine, 8 have exited the page. So, the remaining one person who’s still reading this…

Thank you. =p (obviously, it’s a hint for you to leave a comment. hmm?)

Hey Lou, I thought you hate blogs? *smirk*

Hey, thanks for reading. (you lah. The one wondering whether I’m referring to you. Yeah, you.)

But baby be brave
‘Cause what’s the point of it all
What’s the point of it all, yeah
Baby, don’t blow it
Tell me what’s it all for
If you’re not terrified to fail
