Third post.

Thursday, October 19th, 2006

Something’s up with me. This is the third post in a day.

I don’t know why, there’s just a happy bubble feeling in me today. yippee. Everyone’s in a festive mode, people wishing others Happy Deeparaya et al. And something’s wrong with the line transmission here. Argh. What hah maxis? I want to SMS my friend also tak boleh. hmmph. Deepavali hari Sabtu mah… Line sudah jam meh?

(omg omg, I know this song is sooooooo typical pop-rock-chick but I love Ashley Simpson’s Boyfriend. The song lah. Not her partner. And what’s with the influx of Rihanna’s songs on the radio these days mannnnnnn.. If i hear about her whining about being unfaithful and how she’s killing her bf by doing that, I swear I’m going to-)

"I don’t want to hurt him anymore/ I don’t want to take away his life/ I don’t want to be a murderer" wth lah oi. You don’t want to kill him then DON’T LAH! ish. wth, why am I listening to this song anyway? =.=

Ahah. Sean Paul. lalalalala.. I never understand what he’s saying but wth. I remember a few years back, I could recite Sean Paul’s "Shake That Thing" from memory. lol. serious. yes lah, this IS the correct blog you’re reading.

Anyway, what’s with the multiple posts eh? I have no idea. Just got the sudden urge to BLOOOOGGG… And they’re all filled with randomness that I really don’t care who reads cos I’m enjoying this babeh! wth.

How’d they say it again.. Deepavali Valthukel (?) and Selamat Hari Raya!

*I’ve been saying that I need sleep desperately. But now, I can’t take afternoon naps. hmm. Biological clock. tick tock. And eh, no, no babies.

Randomness.

Second post. Yehahaha……

I think the reason all my posts get so jumbled with randomness is that I seldom get to log in to Friendster, hence the lack of blogging. So everytime I have something to blog, but cannot because I don’t have a laptop and the desktop comp simply refuses to allow me to log in. Soooo.. everything just gets mixed up and blended. Fruit punch puree! wth.

Dad, did you conspire with the desktop to block me from signing in to Friendster? hmm. AND blogspot? rah. AND my MSN- oops, Windows Live Space? Eh.. Wait. My dad doesn’t read this. =.=

See that’s why I borrow your laptop for HOURS, sometimes up to four hours plus, which in the end, causes me to sleep at 2.30 in the morning when I have to sit for papers the day after that? hah.

hmm. I realise, this post is full of randomness as well. tsk tsk.

Tak Nak.

I am happpyyyyy! Wheeeee hee hee hee… Finals are over! BWAHHAHAHAH..

*ahem*

I’ve been having urges to shout obscene words randomly, but that will tarnish my sweet and demure image. Cough, choke, splutter and vomit all the blood you want; but i’m telling you, I swear much much much LESS these days. WAHAHAHA.. I had a really horrid case of cussing few years back. Yes lah yes lah, I still swear damn a lot these days hor but compared to last time very little liao right? right?

wth, why my english so ah lian de?! (see? see? -see what?- Puan See? wth. )

argh. Must be the exam fever. ’tis has plagued me for days… and months.. years even… okay okay, it’s only a month. bleargh.. still feels like we’ve been having exams for a year.

(this is unrelated - ROARRRRRRRRR.. WHAT’s WITH THE LINE TRANSMISSION?!!!)

yessssss.. so the final paper was Sejarah 1. People were literally screaming for joy. hmm. And some guy stuck a PINK SANITARY PAD and walked around after school with the pad on his groin. wth. Guy-pink pad-groin. Yuh huh. See how exams can get to people? (BAN EXAMS! BAN EXAMS! -are you with me?- BAN EXAMS!)

"Note: It takes 15 trees to produce the amount of paper that you use to write in 1 exam. Join us in promoting the noble cause of saving trees. SAY NO TO EXAMS. TAK NAK!"

Heck, I have to say that i agree. TAK NAK all the way babe!

blasphemy

Friday, October 13th, 2006

Sooooo… Four more days to Independence. My biological clock is in a mess; been sleeping irregular hours. Rah… Bombed my Chemistry papers, Bio paper, BM paper, blah blah blah etc. *sniff*

Anyway, reading the papers today, I saw this article "Ikim: Sack Takaful man, Mohd Fauzi ‘not fit to hold position’. And I thought, ohh.. another one of ‘em internal power struggles in another government body. *yawn*

Until I saw this; "… for issuing an e-mail banning staff from wishing Hindus Happy Deepavali…" (0.o) woh. Wait.. it gets better; "…In an e-mail that was sent to the staff of the Islamic insurance company, Mohd Fauzi said wishing "Happy Durga Pooja", "Happy Lakshmi Pooja" and "Happy Deepavali" was deemed as expressing greetings to the Hindu Gods Durga, Lakhsmi and Krishna, which he viewed as going against the Islamic faith…" (0.0) hmm.

What happened was, this dude from Takaful Malaysia circulated an internal e-mail banning staff from wishing Hindus a Happy Deepavali. The Takaful Malaysia Syariah Department head, Mohd Fauzi Mustaffa.

"…staff were prohibited from conveying their greetings for the three celebrations and other similar festivities because they could be deemed as blasphemous…"

Blasphemous, from the word blasphemy = talking of God in a disrespectful or joking way. (Collins English Learner’s Dictionary)

Now isn’t that amusing. It certainly gives new meaning to the word "hypocrisy" neh? Makes you wonder. Really, Mr. Fauzi, have you ever attended any Deeparaya open houses? Do you have Hindu neighbours? Hindu colleagues, Hindu FRIENDS to be exact. Wait, you’ve just lost them all. Ohhh.. Nono, you didn’t even have any to begin with eh? Nope. Well you can’t blame them Mr. Fauzi. After all, you’ve been in that hut of yours facing the computer typing such rubbish and circulating them as e-mails to your staff.

zzz. Really lah. It’s these things which make you thankful to god that you have friends who are more mature and open-minded than an adult who finds festival greetings blasphemous.

     Happy Deeparaya everyone.

P/s- Adlina, got open house ah?
